Getting started
Launch a professional website in under an hour
You do not need to hire a developer or learn code to publish a site that looks credible and converts visitors. Cliux gives you a visual page builder, built-in hosting, SSL, and SEO tools in one workspace, so you can go from blank canvas to live URL on your own schedule.
Steps
- 1
Create your Cliux account
Sign up at cliux.com with email or Google. Choose the plan that fits your goals, the free tier is enough to design and preview; upgrade when you are ready to connect a custom domain and remove Cliux branding.
- 2
Pick a template or start blank
Open the template gallery and filter by industry (restaurant, portfolio, SaaS, local business). Select a layout close to your vision, then customize. Prefer full control? Start from a blank page and add sections from the component library.
- 3
Customize pages with the visual editor
Drag sections, swap images, edit copy inline, and adjust typography and colors from the style panel. Use responsive preview to check mobile and tablet breakpoints before you publish, most traffic arrives on phones.
- 4
Configure site settings and SEO
Open Site Settings to set your site name, favicon, and default meta title and description. Add alt text to images, structure headings (one H1 per page), and enable the sitemap. Cliux generates clean URLs and schema-friendly markup automatically.
- 5
Connect your domain and publish
Point your domain via Cliux DNS or add a CNAME record at your registrar. Click Publish, your site goes live on global CDN with HTTPS. Share the URL, submit the sitemap to Google Search Console, and track visits in built-in analytics.
What you need before you start
A domain name (optional on day one, Cliux provides a subdomain), brand assets (logo, colors, a few photos), and a one-sentence value proposition. Write who you help and what outcome they get; that sentence becomes your hero headline.
Essential pages every site should have
Home, About, Services or Products, Contact, and Privacy Policy. Add a blog only if you will publish at least twice a month, empty blogs hurt credibility. Link your contact form to Cliux CRM so leads land in one inbox.
Common mistakes to avoid
Slow hero images (compress before upload), vague CTAs ("Learn more" instead of "Book a free call"), and publishing without mobile review. Test forms yourself: submit a lead, confirm the notification email, and check the CRM entry.
