Services
Let clients book appointments and pay online
Service businesses lose revenue when booking happens over DMs and email tag. A built-in scheduling flow shows real availability, collects payment upfront, and sends reminders, so you show up to confirmed appointments, not no-shows. Cliux Bookings integrates with your site, CRM, and Stripe without Calendly embeds.
Steps
- 1
Create bookable services
In Bookings → Services, add each offering (consultation, haircut, photoshoot) with duration, buffer time, and price. Upload a cover image and description clients see when choosing. Group services by category if you offer many types.
- 2
Set your availability and rules
Define weekly hours, blocked dates, and minimum notice (e.g., 24 hours). Set timezone explicitly, critical for remote clients. Enable staff calendars if multiple team members take bookings from one site.
- 3
Embed the booking widget on your site
Add the Bookings section to your Services or Contact page. Style it to match your brand. For single-service businesses, use a dedicated /book page linked from the main navigation and Instagram bio.
- 4
Configure payments and policies
Require full payment or deposit via Stripe at booking time. Add cancellation policy text and automated reminder emails (24h and 1h before). Sync bookings to Google Calendar if you live in calendar apps.
- 5
Test the full client journey
Book yourself as a test client: pick a slot, pay with a test card, confirm calendar invite and email sequence. Cancel and reschedule once to verify policies and refund rules behave as expected.
Booking page copy that reduces no-shows
State what to prepare, meeting link delivery method, and late policy in the service description. Charge a non-refundable deposit for high-demand slots, psychology and cash flow both improve show rates.
Combining bookings with forms and CRM
Tag every booking client in CRM for follow-up sequences. Trigger a thank-you email with upsell (package of sessions) via automations. Intake questions can be custom fields on the booking form so you arrive prepared.
Industries that benefit most
Coaches, clinics, salons, tutors, and photographers see the fastest ROI. If you sell group classes, use capacity limits per slot; for rentals, switch to multi-day availability rules in service settings.
