Conversion
Build landing pages that turn clicks into customers
A landing page has one job: get the visitor to take a single action. No nav clutter, no competing links, just a focused message, proof, and a form or checkout. Cliux funnel pages and standalone landers share the same editor, with A/B-ready sections and form-to-CRM wiring built in.
Steps
- 1
Define one conversion goal
Decide the sole CTA: book a demo, download a guide, buy a tripwire, or join a waitlist. Every headline, image, and bullet should support that action. If you need two goals, build two pages, split traffic with UTM tags.
- 2
Choose a high-converting template
Start from Cliux landing templates (SaaS, webinar, local service, product launch). Strip navigation and footer links that leak traffic. Keep the logo clickable only if brand trust requires it, otherwise use a static logo.
- 3
Write above-the-fold copy that hooks
Lead with outcome, not features: "Get 20 qualified leads per week" beats "Our CRM has automation." Add a subhead with who it is for and a primary button with action verbs: "Start free trial," not "Submit."
- 4
Add proof and objection handlers
Stack testimonials, client logos, guarantee copy, and FAQ accordions below the fold. Address price, time-to-value, and "why now" in three short FAQ answers. Use real names and roles, anonymous quotes convert worse.
- 5
Wire the form and track conversions
Connect the form to Cliux CRM and a thank-you page or redirect. Enable conversion events in analytics. Run paid or organic traffic with UTM parameters so you know which channel delivers lowest cost per lead.
Landing page vs homepage
Your homepage serves many audiences; a landing page speaks to one campaign and one offer. Send ad traffic to dedicated URLs, never the homepage, so message match stays tight and bounce rates drop.
Speed and mobile matter more here
Paid traffic is expensive; slow pages burn budget. Compress hero media, limit third-party scripts, and preview on a real phone. Cliux pages are static-friendly and CDN-delivered for sub-second loads on typical landers.
Testing without a data science team
Duplicate the page, change one element (headline or CTA color), and split traffic 50/50 for two weeks. Need statistically meaningful results? Run at least 100 conversions per variant or use longer windows for low-traffic niches.
